Project 2 Million
Why Project $2 Million matters to me — and to the people we serve.
Years ago, I suffered a traumatic brain injury while skiing and had to be airlifted to the nearest trauma center. The bills from that experience were just shy of half a million dollars.
Thankfully, I had insurance.
But many working families today aren’t so lucky. Even with employer-sponsored
coverage, they’re still staring down $5,000 deductibles and sky-high out-of-pocket
costs – just to use the benefit they already pay for.
That’s why I started Project $2 Million – a campaign to track how much financial relief we can deliver by helping employers bend the cost curve on health insurance.
We’ve already helped businesses and their employees save over $835,552 and we’re just getting started.
This isn’t just a spreadsheet win. It’s families who can now afford to cover their spouse or take their kid to the doctor without fear of the bill.
It’s small businesses who can finally offer benefits that attract and retain great people, without crushing their budget.
It’s what happens when you put the “benefit” back in employee benefits.
